17th March 2009 was the day that the first confirmed case of Swine Flu was reported in Mexico. 11 days later one was reported in the USA.

With now up to 176 people confirmed dead and with one person dead in Texas and multiple cases around the world, are we heading towards a pandemic and if so what can be done to prevent it?

Well I don't know what all the fuss is about. It seems to have died down. Forgive the pun  Grin but there were only a few deaths. You can die from normal flu and it has not spread any quicker than normal flu in a normal year.

I do, however, except that a strain one day may cause problems like the last flu pandemic in 1968 but as a world we are a lot better prepared now.
